Pravo pitanje bi bilo “Floyd rose” ili bez njega.

Obe gitare su potpuno iste, drvo, magneti, itd, izuzev gore-pomenutog Floyd Rose tremolo-a u koji se ne razumem baš najbolje… i cene (50€ skuplji grg270).

Ono što mi realno treba je brzi drop-D i stabilni štim, na šta sa prvom varijantom ne (grg270) ne mogu da računam.

Evo šta sveznajuća wiki ima da kaže za i protiv Floyd Rose-a.



Advantages:
* A wide range of pitch changes, both up and down, can be achieved.
* Tuning remains intact after even extensive use of the tremolo.

Disadvantages:
* Resting the palm on the bridge would push it down, raising the tension of the strings and therefore raising the pitch of the strings. This effect is more pronounced when picking the strings while resting the side of the palm on the bridge, as most guitarists have the habit of doing, and also when doing palm mutes. For this reason, guitarists are advised not to exert too much pressure on the bridge with their hand.
* A single string breakage changes the tension on the floating bridge, causing the remaining strings to go out of tune.
* For the same reason above, changing the tune of one or more strings (especially the heavy strings) would change the pitch of the other strings slightly. Retuning of the other strings is often necessary.
* Several tools are needed (cutting pliers and up to three Allen keys) to change a string.
* To change the entire tuning of the guitar (say if you want to tune down to D), you would have to loosen the bolts of the nut lock, tune down or up with your head tuners, re-tighten the nut lock bolts, and fine tune with your bridge tuners. This procedure would be very hard to do in a middle of a performance.

Nakon raznoraznih peripetija, dokopao sam se najnovije verzije Line 6-ovog GX-a.

U pitanju je prepakovan Toneport GX sa dodatnom VST verzijom Pod farma, koja se u slučaju duplo jeftinijeg Toneporta plaćala dodatnih 50$.
